Profile strength, academics and activities sit across the top, so the state of things is readable before you have clicked anything.
Below them: the month you are in and how far through it you are, the office hours you have not registered for yet, and the 1:1 you have not booked. The things that need you are the things that are visible.

Application Strength Score
Where a student stands academically and outside the classroom, on a scale that has no failing end.
Academics and activities are placed separately on Developing → Emerging → Competitive → Strong, each with a line saying where in the expected range that sits.
Rigor is measured against what is expected by grade, so a 9th grader is not marked down for AP courses their school does not offer until 11th. There are no letter grades and nothing is called failing.
Alongside it, the schools on your list are sorted into Open, Strong Match, Competitive and Reach — so the score connects to somewhere real rather than floating.

Learning pathways
The lessons behind the advice, in the order they are useful.
Modules are grouped the way the work actually divides — Activities, Academics, Inside the Read — and each lesson is a short video, an article or a worksheet rather than a wall of reading.
Every lesson opens with what you will be able to do at the end of it, and closes by asking for one thing you can finish this week. Progress is marked per lesson, so picking it up three weeks later is not a restart.

The monthly agenda
The plan, broken into things that can be done in an evening.
Each month carries its own set of modules and a handful of tasks, with the current month open and the rest waiting. Completed work stays visible, which is most of the point: in 9th grade the evidence that this is going somewhere is the list of things already behind you.
This is also what takes the conversation off the parent. The next step comes from the agenda rather than from someone at the dinner table.

Search on what a family actually decides on, then keep the list in one place.
Filter by major, location, type, affordability, campus life and admissions. Every school shows graduation rate, average cost after aid and the middle SAT range, not just a name and a ranking.
Each one is labeled Safety, Match or Reach against the profile you have built, and saving it puts it on My Colleges — where the strength score then reports how the list as a whole is balanced.
